gelato places i miss passing by, but never went to
i told my partner how i would like if denver had quaint gelato places and he suggested we go to a nearby frozen yogurt place, which i have walked by and often found to seem soul-less.
that is not quite what i was thinking.
here are some spots that have the vibe i was kind of reminiscing about semi-experiencing, kind of sort of:
- gelateria gentile - north 1st and wythe, williamsburg (i never went here, but it looked quaint. i would look in and see families buying gelato and wonder if it was good. i think this replaced a pet supply store from the shelter, BARC, where i adopted my cat, but i could be off by a block or two).
- il laboratorio del gelato, houston & ludlow, lower east side (ok, this place does not remotely give "quaint", but it is so NOT giving it that i would walk by and still think of it as part of the club anyway. i know this does not make sense.)
- sant ambroeus gelateria, lafayette & prince (ok, i never walked by this one, but i saw it on Google Maps and a girl can dream)
- gelato per tutti - bleecker & jones st (this area by west 4th st station definitely had this or a similar business right before this at the forefront of my mind, not that anyone asked)
ASIDE:
what is this clothing store on Orchard St, "Gelato Pique", throwing off my search? i will investigate, but say nothing more publicly.
